  2. A good alternative that has been getting great reviews ( and used by a few riders in this years Dakar ) is one made by an inmate over on Advrider – Tony Schattat. Have a read through his development thread. They are available in his online webshop. TRIPMASTER COMPASS REPEATER REMOTE SWITCH
  3. Supermoto forks are shorter than the Adventure Forks. They also have Radial Calipers which won't fit with a spoked 21" wheel.

This might be worth a look.............. JT sprocket - JTR - 245/3 for 1988/90 Honda XR600R - available in 52 teeth Looks like it could fit JT Sprocket - JTR-300 for Honda XRV650
  5. Mario - I'll show you in July at the Regional Meet - I have the FH001 on my own Africa Twin, and I'll be wiring the Roadstercycle FH012 onto Breeze's Africa Twin on the Friday afternoon (15th July) - but yes it is a direct connection to the battery.
  6. Mario Here's some photos of the FH012 reg/rec from Roadstercycle fitted to an RD04 And THIS IS THE LINK to the RD03 upgrade by Jim on Easter Beaver - with an explanation on the additional Black Wire
  7. This is a great upgrade, and takes away any concerns with the original SH Rectifier. You can use either the FH0001, FH0008, or FH0012 - and if it helps here's a simplified wiring diagram.
  8. I have the KTM 990 Adventure front suspension on my own Twin It makes the swap a lot easier if you use a complete KTMfront end from either the 950 Adventure, 990 Adventure, or late 640 Adventure. Use the KTM upper and lower fork yokes. The 950 and 640 bottom yoke does not have asteering stop, but the 990 does The complete KTM front end can be used: Fork Yokes Forks Wheel Brake Lines Brake Discs Master Cylinder Brake Lever Brembo Calipers Mudguard The top Fork Yoke will accept the Africa Twin Ignition unit The bottom Fork Yoke of the 990 Adventure has the steering stop You'll need to machine a new steering stem - or buy one from Rugged Roads which utilises the standard Honda bearings. Whichever forks you have – they will need to be resprung –so it makes sense to have them serviced – new bushs, new seals, etc WP still offer upgrade springs for the Adventure forks –either .50, .52, or .54 – (the standard in the 950 and 990 is .48) – or if youneed harder springs then .56 and .58 are available from various custom springshops. You will lose the speedo cable unit - so you'll need to decide on what to use as an alternative (Koso RX-2N is good) I’m sorry this is in English, but I’ll ask Breeze nicely tosee if he can translate this into Italian.

  12. In case this is still of any use:
  13. GRAZIE, GRAZIE, GRAZIE The inspiration for doing this came from seeing the fantastic bikes that many members of this club have built - I blame Enzo I have a reminder on the bike of all the good friends I have met in Italy Hi Mario - I have built the bike - now you can show me how to ride it properly Falco - great memories from Assisi Yes - 950 Adventure WP 48mm USD with 0.58Kg/mm fork springs from Slavens Racing
  14. Mario - please excuse my English. I am using the temperature sensor to show the OIL TEMPERATURE as i think it is a better indication for the engine than the coolant in the radiators. I have drawn a diagram that shows the wiring for an RD07A.
